Well here comes another bunch of updates over the weekend, not just today but possibly tomorrow and definitely Sunday.
Basically this update is all about Jessica Alba. I know that usually cap stuff featuring people you've never heard of, but I always make an exception for Jessica, don't know why, but it's just great fun capping her, even when she's in a couple of pretty ordinary films in Awake and Good Luck Chuck. Also have some others from Good Luck Chuck, but I've only done collages of Chelan Simmons, the rest I coulsn't give a fuck about. There are videos though. I might release the video of the sex montage tomorrow.

Alright, back again with another update for this weekend.
.45 is an interesting thriller about a couple of gunsellers who hit an impasse in their relationship when the man beats his girl (Milla Jovovich) viciously in a jealous rage. She decides to get revenge on him with the help of her friends. This film is actually not bad except I didn't really like the twisty ending as it doesn't seem to fit with the first half of the film. A Perfect Fit is a deriative thriller about a problem boy who falls for a dancer (Leila Arcieri) and slowly she begins to suspect that he is not quite right, although he seems perfect. It doesn't help that the film is poorly acted and that Leila continues to tease, but this isn't a good film.
Mr. Fix-it is a likable romantic comedy about a man who helps men get back with their old girlfriends by dating them and then pulling the rug under them so that the boyfriend can be the one to help pick up the pieces. But he meets his match in Italian bombshell, played by Alana de la Garza. Worth a look if your in the mood for a romantic comedy. Poor Boy's Game is an OK film about a man who is released from prison after 9 years and he comes back home where the problems started. He has to face the family of the boy he handicapped seeking more punishment and his brother and his white trash friends. A local boxing champion shapes to fight him in a boxing match, more to do to him what the man did to the boy, but the man gets unexpected help from the boy's father.
Finally, Gabriel is a low-budget Australian film about the archangel Gabriel who comes to Earth to defeat the evil archangels and bring light back to Earth. But the good archangels have gone to ground, too scared of the powerful bad archangels and Gabriel must give them the faith to be archangels again. It's an OK film, very influenced by the Matrix trilogy which is both a good thing and a bad thing.

Update for 15 February...

First things first, there will be no stuff from the series Underbelly featuring at my site for the moment. For those not living in Australia, the new TV show, Underbelly has been banned in my home state of Victoria indefinitely as it has been seen as prejudicial to a trial about to come to the courts. Of course, that hasn't stopped a record number of downloads of the show :) The past few days has been very interesting as an outside observer and that has helped with my decision. I'm still not entirely sure what would happen if I posted caps or videos, but because I'm not exactly anonymous I would rather not risk a contempt of court charge. An appeal to this decision has been approved, so it could be uplifted and I can post something, but that could take a few weeks (late February is the earliest apparently). To this moment, I have not seen the show and I'm not in a rush to do so, but if the ban continues, curiousity will definitely get the better of me. And I'd prefer to cap the show in HD instead of releasing a torrented video.
But that now means that I can have 2 updates this weekend. So you all win while us Victorians lose, for once :)
OK, Open Window is a film about a woman (Robin Tunney) who recovers from being raped. Not an easy film to like, but it is a well done drama. The Deaths of Ian Stone is an interesting horror thriller about a man who keeps getting killed and awakes in a different scene every time. Sadly, after the introduction of this interesting premise, the film decides to go down the arch angel angle, which really isn't that interesting at all. But, it is an interesting failure and Jaime Murray is very hot. Fracture is, well, an overblown thriller. In fact this film lost me in the first 20 minutes as Sir Anthony Hopkins mugs his way though it. When the film focuses on Ryan Gosling, the film gets back on track, but the film is too long, massively convoluted and because of it becomes too clever.
As you can see by the title, 7eventy 5ive (I kid you not), isn't very good. The title refers to a game where after you call someone randomly, you must keep them on the line for 75 seconds with a convincing story. Wow, exciting! Of course, they call up a killer and he stalks a bunch of college kids. I say kill them all! Finally, The Secret Life of Happy People is a depressing French-Canadian film about a shy architect student who is set up with a free spirited woman by his parents. Things go alright for a while, but the girl is more interested in the father and you know the rest. I liked it, but it isn't a fun film. And Catherine de Léan reminds me a lot of Emmanuelle Beart and that's a tick in my book.
See you Sunday.

1/2 - Satisfaction episode 10 (final episode) videos are now available.

Have a fair bit coming up on the site over the next month, but I couldn't be bothered again this week, so I ended up doing only a couple of series. So over the next few weeks, lots of new stuff, so look out for that.
Before The Devil Knows Your Dead is an excellent film about two brothers who are in the need for quick cash, so they decide to rob their parent's jewellery store expecting easy money, but it goes horribly wrong, resulting in the death of their mother and the bloke they got to rob the place. And then things get even more desperate when both brothers are in the need of money fast. Then, there's their father who wants to find out who was behind the robbery. And that's just the half of it, an excellent and looking more and more like it will be overlooked, sadly, except for the fact of Marisa Tomei's quite extensive nudity. But watch the film too, it's well worth it.
Hitman is an adaptation of a series of video games about a man trained from birth to be a hitman and nothing but. I struggled with the games I've gotta admit, but there was definitely a good idea behind them. So, it's a shame that film looks so rushed and uninteresting, joining a long (and ever lengthing) line of bad video game adaptations. There are no interesting characters (although Olga Kurylenko is great to look at) and the plot is a little too simplistic considering the games were pretty complicated. Meh, what do you expect from Hollywood, really..?
Hope you have enjoyed the Satisfaction updates. Series 1 is now over and I actually pretty glad, because it got a little hectic trying to get the stuff out as quick as I could. Most times I got the series out within 5 hours of receiving it and that includes uploading over 100MB of videos in that time. My opinion of the series; a bit of a mixed bag. There was some good things like the character of Tippi (Bojana Novakovic) who seemed to get some pretty weird storylines, even if the character was a bit flaky. Lauren's (Alison Whyte) awakening from suburban housewife to receptionist to fully fledged sex worker was interesting (loved her ex-husband's reaction to finding out). Some things dragged on Heather's (Peta Sergeant) pregnancy and then it's adrupt ending. Mel (Madeleine West) and the brothel owner and their relationship that seemingly has no base. But it was an interesting start, not perfect, but not bad either.
Bring on series 2.
And Underbelly looks interesting particularly since I live in the city it took place in. Could be some really good stuff to cap from that series and Madeleine West pops up again.
