Update for 31 July

I'm not really in the mood to cap much at the moment, so stuff will come out in drips and drabs for a while. As I keep saying as well, there isn't that much around anyway.

For this update I've decided to concentrate on Isla Fisher, as I picked up a copy of The Lookout, which she has a small role in. The Lookout is a solid film about an intellectually disable man who works at a bank who is recruited to be the lookout for a robbery at that said bank. Isla plays a mysterious character named Luvlee Lemons (stage name), but her character goes nowhere in this film although she does look pretty nice throughout. Also, I decided to redo some caps of Isla from The Wannabes.

Update for 25 July

A quick midweek update, this time from the film Disturbia with Sarah Roemer. Sure, this film is a derivative of Rear Window, but it is actually perfectly watchable, particualrly the parts with Sarah in a bikini. And as a thriller it is OK, not great but not bad either. But I am getting sick of the plot of nerdy boys getting the hot chick (check out Transformers as well). I am that nerdy boy and hot chicks have never given me the time of day. They don't care about your impressive and eccentric DVD collection sorted in alphabetical order by director's name, they simply don't care.

There's also some brief stuff of Sarah in a cheerleader's uniform in The Grudge 2, something I didn't think I'd ever get around to.

Australian update part 10

As I said last week, I'm basically clearing out the basement of my Australian stuff, mainly because I don't have much else to put up on the site at the moment. And there is not much out either. And I'm not really inspired...

First up is from the McLeod's Daughters episode a couple of week back. It is always helpful when the ads promote the sexy stuff, cos I wouldn't go near this show with a 50ft poll otherwise. But it's nice to see some of the girls getting into bikinis and even though Gillian Alexy was also in the scene, there was absolutely nothing cappable. Ah well, have to wait until West comes out on DVD for some good nude action from her.

SBS has decided to invest some money into Australian comedy/drama (finally), so we've got some interesting and pretty diverse stuff coming out. The excellent The Circuit is currently playing, but this update I've capped some stuff from the comedy series Wilfred, which well, was an acquired taste. It's about a man who starts a relationship with a woman who has a pretty demanding dog, who is played by a man in a dog suit. Basically, it's about the relationship between pets and their owners. The show isn't bad and there are a few laughs to be had, but it is a hard show to describe without watching it. I stuck with it, mainly because I was trying to work out where I'd seen Cindy from and then it finally it hit me, she (and as I later found out her co-star) was in a famous HBA ad "Three for Free". Nice to see her again.

Finally, six months after the rest was done, I got around to doing caps of Yvonne Strzechowski from Headland, but only because she just got a role in an Amercian TV series called Chuck. Gee, I'm a lazy bastard. She's also in the film Gone which just got released this week here. It's a passable thriller based loosely on the Peter Falconio murder.

Australian update part 9

As you can see, I've finally put a banner to this website and with it some sort of semblance as to where you are. As with everything, it's all under construction, as I'm trying to put more structure to the site. And Internet Explorer can go and get fucked. The standards of that browser are fucking awful. Please use Mozilla, Opera or something non-IE based to view the site as I intend it. I'm not saying it's unviewable in IE, it works fine, but there's so much pissing around to get it right.

Well, what can I say about the Chances update. Probably one of my most successful and considering it was a re-run from 3 years ago, I'm pretty happy with the little work that I did... Also, I have further news on the next chapter of Chances. It is a definite goer, hopefully in early August, but it is on. And it's the last 8 episodes of series, not the episodes everyone really wants to see. Ah well, better than nothing I suppose.

First up is Voodoo Lagoon, which I grabbed from a German source and sadly, the source is not as good as I hoped. It's alright, but nowhere near DVD quality. I think I'll have another go when I can get a DVD source. I can't tell you about the film, because it is dubbed in German (as you will see with the videos). Also, finally got around to making caps of Victoria Thaine from Two Twisted with HD videos.

I saw The Illustrated Family Doctor at the cinema and it's the type of film that can alienate someone very quickly. It's quite depressing as evidenced by six people being in the cinema at the beginning and by half hour in I was the only one left. I think maybe it was the sex scene where the girl (Kestie Morassi, see video) is graphically describing her fantasy of getting gang raped. Or the most uninteresting and depressing lead character I've ever seen (in a related topic, the lead actor, Samuel Johnson suffers from depression). Just enjoy the caps. Also I have Jessica Napier as a bikie chick in the so terrible it's almost likable Ghost Rider.

Next up is the excellent miniseries My Brother Jack from a few years back. It has a nice smattering of nudity, more than I would've expected from an Australian series and a nice surprise when Lucy Taylor appears as a nude model. I watched Stepfather of the Bride (with caps below) with Lucy Taylor, who'd I never seen before and then she up and appears in briefly in the nude in My Brother Jack. And so does Ellouise Rothwell appear nude in My Brother Jack, in which she had some brief nudity in photos in the miniseries The Silence.

Still not much around at the moment, so I'll scrape the bottom of the Australian barrel next up. Some McLeod's Daughters stuff, maybe some stuff from SBS shows like Wilfred, RAN and The Circuit and maybe some reduxes.

It's here... Chances

Possibly the most requested series of caps/videos of those I have made is from the TV series of Chances. And let's face it, there is only one reason for this: it was a high quality television show...

A quick synopsis of the show: Chances started back in 1991 as the 9 Network's next attempt to have a much needed drama hit. I was only 13, but I remember the first episode barely. I can remember a family celebrating winning the lottery and I can remember a couple having sex (I'm suggesting the man is Jeremy Sims, but my memory is hazy). It was the only episode (or part of an episode) I ever watched of the show because I wasn't allowed to watch it :( Anyway, I heard all the stories about it and it wasn't until the release of the DVDs of 16 episodes 3 years ago that I had the chance to watch show. And to be honest, I don't know what the fuss was all about...

Alright, the distributors deliberately went for the infamous episodes in the release (the vampire plot, Eva Braun's necklace and Nazi gear, Kate Langbroek's nudity), but this show is absolutely terrible to the point that it hilarously terrible. And to be honest, I wasn't that impressed with the nudity either. The woman aren't exactly drop dead gorgeous, and I hate to say this, but I think they just got anyone who didn't have a problem with doing nude scenes. And the fact we have pretty much never heard of most of the actors/actresses since would attest to the depths they plumbed.

OK, now the good news. It looks like finally, finally after 3 years the next batch of episodes from the Chances collection is to be released early August, although I could've said the same thing 12 months ago, but it sadly did not get a release. We will wait and see...

So, for the first time at my website, the videos from the series are available, almost 1GB of stuff.

Australian Update part 8

So, I'm back with the Australian updates, which must mean there isn't much out on new release. Well, the main focus on this site is on Australian actresses, even though that is not the reason most people come here for. Now it's time to break out the pile of Australian caps that are piling up and release them out to the world, but it also gives me a chance to redo some series that I wasn't happy with in the first place (3 of which are included in this update).

Alright, you are looking at what is in this update and thinking, 'Johnny, who the fuck are these women? Why am I wasting my time here?'. What can I say, I don't know much about them either, except they appear in Australian films (you should see the next update...). OK, here's what I can tell you. You know about Miranda Otto, she's been in a few massive films. Both Em4Jay and Blacktown are ultra low budget films, Em4Jay is another Australian junkie film, but it's actually alright and Blacktown about a romance between two people who meet after the woman's date goes bad. I redid Travelling Light because they showed it on TV a few weeks back, but I'm disappointed there wasn't more from Kestie Morassi (she'll appear in the next update). And Strange Fits of Passion is a pretty good story about a woman trying to lose her virginity even though she doesn't really know how or who with. Michela Noonan was gone on to appear in a few Italian films, none of which I have seen yet.
